Laniarius bicolorĀ
This striking bush-shrike can be told from tropical and southern boubous by its pure white underparts. From a southern Africa perspective it is found in northern Botswana and Namibia.
I first set eyes on this bird in April 2011 while driving through Maun, Botswana. The sighting was unfortunately to quick for record purposes and we had to wait until July 2012 before we got incredible views of this beautiful boubou at Kunene River Lodge in northern Namibia.
