Chlorophoneus olivaceus (near-endemic)
This near-endemic, forest bushshrike comes in two colour forms, and is a common resident of evergreen and riverine forests on the east coast of South Africa.
I was lucky enough to see both the ruddy and the olive morph of this species in September 2010 while visiting ocean view on the south coast of KwaZulu Natal. Unfortunately I was only able to get a record photograph of the ruddy male.
