Indicator minor
This medium-sized honeyguide, with its short stubby bill and white outer tail feathers, is a common resident of forest, woodland and dense savanna.
Our first sighting of this species took place in April 2010 while we were on a canoe ride along the Kosi Bay lake system. Since then we have seen it on a number of occasions; from the forests of southern KwaZulu Natal, to the botanical gardens of Roodepoort, to the woodlands near Nylsvlei.
