Lazy Cisticola

Cisticola aberrans

This common resident on rocky slopes can be distinguished from other cisticolas by means of its long, often cocked tail, and its pale supercilium that extends well behind the eye.

We first recorded this cisticola in September 2010 while staying at Butjani Lodge in Rust de Winter.
