Cape White-eye

Zosterops capensis (endemic)

This common white-eye is a regular visitor to our gardens and neighbourhoods and can be seen on most birding outings. There are currently 4 sub-species in southern Africa, which vary in lower breast and belly colouration; from grey to green.

They love the paw paws our family grows in Ocean View, KwaZulu Natal.
