Cape Bulbul

Pycnonotus capensis (endemic)

The cape bulbul is the biggest of the three southern African bulbuls and is separated from them by its diagnostic white eye-ring.

We regularly see this endemic bulbul when visiting my parents in Llandudno, Cape Town. It is a common resident of their seaside garden.
